Soccer vs American Football?

Football players aren't "obese." Some look real thick yes, but I mean there ping fitness tests regular "Obese" people would have a heart-attack attempting. Still though, there cardio is a joke compared to soccer. Football is short intense bursts play-by-play. Soccer is a non stop game where you are jogging, walking, running, and sprinting. As far as skill goes, every sport requires skill. In America although I am a soccer player, in many cases the best youth athletes/talent are invested into football and opposed to soccer. Usually those put in soccer are kids too scrawny to play football, but this isn't necessarily always the case. I've played soccer with the number 7 team in the country my age(16) so yeah there are good athletes there too. However there are many very athletic football players out there, that could have been instead brought up into excellent soccer players. Also the mentality is a bit different. In football, you are trying to take an oblong shaped ball down to the other end of the field while other men try to break your bones, vice-versa as well. This requires tenacity to get back up after being chucked onto the ground by 300 pound bears. You need to have patience in soccer, it's how you react after you've been scored on.
