Advice urgently needed plzzzz?

i am 38 years old and for the past 12 months my periods have gone from every 28 days to every 21 to 23 days,could this be the start of menopause?also i was hoping have my sterilisation reversed this year as i had clips put on about 9 yrs ago after having 4 heathy children who have now grown up.i have recently remarried and am so desperate to have another baby,do you still think theres a chance or not or is there anyone else who as been in this situation.thank you
