I have a really crap skateboard at the moment and im getting i new 1 i want to learn tricks what should i get?

i get reeli fustrated i cant do high ollies or kickflips at all i think its because my board it soo heavey if i get a lighter board wil it be easier to ollie high and do a kickflip i can spin the board but i alweys seem to land next to in insted of on top of it lol please help me xxxxx
