The Dallas Mavericks are hiring Rick Carlisle as the new coach, any thoughts?

i hope he can provide a new voice to the mavs and help them win. i dont really kno anything about him/about coaching career but he did get fired last year from charlotte after a 35 win season. he was pretty successful in detroit and indiana.
