Does time served in the Navy DEP program count towrds MSO? If yes where can I find that instruction?

DEP time counts toward for 8 years. All contracts are 8 years, so if you sign for 4 years active and wait 1 year before you ship you will have 3 years left in the inactive reserves. I dont have access to instuctions anymore but your local recruiter should be able to help with that.
