Do Ugg's bought from DE have a guarantee?

My step-dad has bought me a pair of knitted ugg's from de along with my younger sister. I have had them no longer than around two weeks and the stitching I think has ripped down to the bottom. I did not play a part in this. The thing is, I would tell my family no bother, but I have a strange relationship with them and I feel I can't unless I know I have some kind of back up like a guarantee so they won't be angry with me. Does anybody know this?
